Request Open Stack:
Readers can use this service if they want to read open stack books. The WE Library will put the requested open stack books at the Service Desk for readers' convenience.
Request date: 14 days (at least one working day) in advance
Books available for open stack request: open stack books on the first and second floors of the WE Library (comprehensive collection, EXPO collection, museology collection, and reference books).
Quantity: a maximum of five books per person
Request procedure:
1. Search for the books you want to request on the OPAC, log into the system, and click to request.
2. Select a library opening day to pick up and read the book. (Common readers should make a reservation to visit the Library first.)
3. When arriving at the Library, the reader can pick up the book at the Service Desk on the first floor with your Reader Pass.
4. Readers should return the book to the Service Desk before leaving the library for the convenience of other readers.
Cancellation and violations:
1. If cannot visit the Library on the scheduled day, the reader should cancel the reservation in a timely manner.
2. Same-day cancellation is not accepted.
3. If a reader no-show three times in total, the Library will suspend the reader's right to enjoy the service for three months.
4. If the Library fails to provide the service under special circumstances, the staff will contact the reader to cancel the reservation.
