Accessibility support

The WE Library provides accessible facilities and services for readers in need.

1. Free wheelchairs can be found at the Luggage Storage (near the Ticket Center) in the WEM. Before using a wheelchair, a reader should register with a mobile number, ID card, and a CNY100 deposit. The reader can take back the ID card and deposit when returning the wheelchair.

2. Accessible toilets can be found in the exhibition area in the WEM. If needed, readers can enter the accessible toilet on the first floor via the North Hall of the WEM.

3.AccessAble Guide

Readers can use indoor stairs to reach each floor of the WE Library. Elevators are set up in other areas of the museum. If AccessAble Guide is required, please call the customer service line (021-23132898) to make a reservation at least one working day in advance. When a reservation is made successfully, the staff of the WEM will provide necessary escort and support.

Notes: The successful reservation of AccessAble Guide cannot be used as the reservation for a visit. Common readers should make a reservation for a visit before applying for AccessAble Guide.
